"365
CLUB" in Nevada
Brother Knights the 365
Club was instituted in the 2000/2001 Columbian
Year. With your generous contributions we have been
able to help many of our brother knights in their time of
distress. If we all contribute just ONE PENNY A DAY, this
fund will rise so that we can help many brother knights
when their need arise.
If you are or know a brother in need whom the 365 Club
might help, see your Grand Knight privately. Any brother
receiving assistance from the 365 Club remains complete
anonymous.
Remember, we never know when anyone of us may need
assistance, so please be generous with your donations.
Fraternally,
Carl Ted Aceto P.S.D.

Training Success as a
Grand Knight
The grand knight is the highest ranking elected officer
of his council. When he is successful in completing the
duties of this office, his council will move forward and
thrive. To assist grand knights in implementing their
duties and adding an important page to the history of our
Order, the Supreme Council is proud to make available
this comprehensive training
module.
It was created to provide uniformity to the training
message that our council leaders receive. Grand knights
can view this training production at their own pace and
utilize the information in it to guide them in their
duties as council leaders.
District
Deputys Success Starts With Training
For anyone to be successful at a job, he needs to be
properly trained in all facets of his position. The
Supreme Council is proud to announce a comprehensive training
module
for district deputies. It was created to provide
uniformity to the training message that our district
leaders receive. A DVD of the training module was
recently mailed to every district deputy and is now
available for district deputies to train and review at
their own pace.

Knightline
: Program Supplement
Published monthly, Knightline (which
beginning in 2010 was combined with Program
Supplement) is a vital resource for local K
of C leaders. The newsletter features news from the
Supreme Council office, actions of the Order's Board
of Directors, a column on Knights of Columbus
insurance up-to-date program and membership growth
events for the coming months that the council,
assembly or circle can become involved with. Past
issues of Knightline and Program
Supplement can be accessed as well.
District
Deputy Reminder
The District Deputy Reminder
highlights current K of C initiatives. It is
forwarded to all district deputies to help them keep
current on the Order's objectives. The newsletter
reminds district leaders about upcoming deadlines and
offers suggestions for meetings, recruitment
activities and volunteer programs.
Officer
Handbooks and Training Modules
Officer handbooks provide a general overview of the
duties and responsibilities of officer positions
within the Order along with reference sections on
laws and rules within the K of C.
Membership
Growth
Recruiting new members is essential to the continued
growth and well-being of your council and the Order.
Offering a man membership in the Knights of Columbus
gives him the opportunity to improve his own life and
his community. Membership allows him to experience
the fraternal bond that Knights share while growing
closer to his family and faith. We provide many tools
to help with membership recruitment and growth.
- Membership
Newsletter (Archive
2004 - 2008) provides ideas and suggestions
for council leaders on membership recruitment
activities on a quarterly basis.
Service
Program Materials
A Knights of Columbus council can work wonders; in
fact, with its many programs, it can help change the
community, town, city or neighborhood in which you
live. However, a successful Knights of Columbus
program depends on people taking the initial idea,
modifying it to suite specific situations and local
needs, then implementing the program in the way it
works.
Guides are available for many Knights of Columbus
programs and activities. These guides provide
step-by-step instructions for conducting and
promoting some of the Order's most popular programs.
Squires
Publications
Squires Newsletter provides program
information and monthly updates for leaders of
Columbian Squires circles. The Squires is the youth
organization of the Knights of Columbus.
Circle Compass is published on a
monthly basis and is distributed to circle counselors
as a means of keeping them informed on the latest
developments of the Squires program.
