"365
CLUB" in Nevada
Brother Knights the 365
Club was instituted in the 2000/2001 Columbian
Year. With your generous contributions we have been
able to help many of our brother knights in their time of
distress. If we all contribute just ONE PENNY A DAY, this
fund will rise so that we can help many brother knights
when their need arise.
If you are or know a brother in need whom the 365 Club
might help, see your Grand Knight privately. Any brother
receiving assistance from the 365 Club remains complete
anonymous.
Remember, we never know when anyone of us may need
assistance, so please be generous with your donations.
Fraternally,
Carl Ted Aceto P.S.D.

Training Success as a
Grand Knight
The grand knight is the highest ranking elected officer
of his council. When he is successful in completing the
duties of this office, his council will move forward and
thrive. To assist grand knights in implementing their
duties and adding an important page to the history of our
Order, the Supreme Council is proud to make available
this comprehensive training
module.
It was created to provide uniformity to the training
message that our council leaders receive. Grand knights
can view this training production at their own pace and
utilize the information in it to guide them in their
duties as council leaders.
District
Deputys Success Starts With Training
For anyone to be successful at a job, he needs to be
properly trained in all facets of his position. The
Supreme Council is proud to announce a comprehensive training
module
for district deputies. It was created to provide
uniformity to the training message that our district
leaders receive. A DVD of the training module was
recently mailed to every district deputy and is now
available for district deputies to train and review at
their own pace.

Mentally Challenged Drive Program

The 2007 Drive to
support the Mentally Challenged Reporting Phase
As we near the end of the 2007
drive to support the mentally challenged, please review
the reporting requirements.
The forms you need are the Council reporting form
and the Council charity form. (see below)
As you fill in the information, please be sure to check
your calculations.
Be specific when you identify your charities.
Be sure to include a good address to which the State
Council will return your charity checks.
Lastly, when you forward the proceeds of your drive,
please be sure your checks are made out to "KofC
Nevada State Council." Under no circumstances should
your checks be made out to me.
Thank you for your close attention to these requirements.
Special Olympics. All Councils participating in
the Tootsie Roll Drive contribute to Special Olympics in
two ways: in money and in man-hours. Twenty percent of
the funds we collect is held by the State Council and is
presented as a consolidated gift to Nevada Special
Olympics. On the man-hours side, Councils should keep
track of and report 20% of the man-hours expended in the
Tootsie Roll drive on their annual report #4584. These
hours should appear in paragraph 1, under state
games/events.
Councils that directly support Special Olympics in other
ways should continue to account for these money and
man-hour contributions as they normally do.
Thank you for your continuing and enthusiastic support of
our statewide program.
